Social Widget/Gadget APIs of interest

Hi everyone,

Following the discussion on the call earlier, here are some JavaScript
APIs of interest for social applications, implemented by Apache
projects:

Google Wave Gadget API [1] (GWG)

simpler than earlier versions, as you can see by comparison with the
legacy API in Appendix A)

Apache Shindig [3] implements OSAP...

Re: [diso-project] What would be the common requirements of a "distributed Social Network" project

Hello Alexandre (and others on the Diso-project mailing list),

there's a group of folks over in the W3C also working towards the
design/architecture of social network future. The group (of which I'm a
member) is called the Social Web Incubator Group. It started a year ago.

You can read a (perhaps) somewhat dusty mission statement (Incubator
group charter) page here: http://www.w3.org/2005/Inc...

Would be cool if you could share it, yes, please ;)

Yup. For example it seems the link to "Read-Write Linked Data" [1] in
http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/CloudStorage.html is broken. Care to fix it?
