Agenda for Social Web XG Meeting Wed. Feb 10rd 16:00-17:00Z: High-Level Principles and Manu Sporny et al. on Micropayments

Everyone,

I'm sending out the agenda early this week - do try to read up
beforehand, and finish actions *before* the meeting. We will discuss
high-level principles first (compare and contrast Christine and
Renato's with those proposed by Anita, and remember the ID commons
lexicon and the Media 2.0 Best Practices work) and then onto the
micropayment work on Payswarm.

Payswarm presentation to about 15-20 minutes.

Payswarm is definitely one of the more interesting and innovative
micropayment systems I've seen out there, so I'd definitely give the

PaySwarm background for telecon this Wednesday

Hi all,

Harry has kindly asked us to speak about the PaySwarm standardization
work at the next Social Web XG telecon, this Wednesday at 4pm UTC.
Here's a quick introduction and follow-up material:

What is PaySwarm?

The Payswarm web platform is an open standard that enables web browsers
and web devices to perform micropayments and copyright-aware,
peer-to-peer digital media distribution.

General question....did you look at existing ACL/Permission languages to use instead?

(Does the web need yet another access control language?)
